Tala is a director at Hamilton Place Strategies, where she works with clients to develop strategic and data-driven communications support in issues related to a variety of sectors, including tech, retail, and financial services. Tala is also part of HPS’ Creative unit, focusing on strategic branding and design.
Prior to joining HPS, Tala served as the Communications Assistant at American Near East Refugee Aid (ANERA) in Lebanon, an NGO working on development programs in health and education. She also worked at the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security (GIWPS) as a Research Assistant in Washington, D.C., exploring women’s roles in peacebuilding and post-conflict policymaking in different global contexts.
Originally from Beirut, Lebanon, Tala attended Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service as an Arrupe Scholarship Recipient. She completed a B.S. in International Economics with a minor in French. After a fifth year on campus, she earned a M.S. Foreign Service and an academic excellence award, as part of a selective accelerated dual-degree program.
