Biography

Scott Haber-Katris is a senior director at Hamilton Place Strategies.

Before working at HPS, Scott was a Communications Director at Internet Association (IA), the leading trade association for online websites, services, and apps. While there, he worked to establish IA as the industry voice on tech policy issues, such as Section 230, net neutrality, and digital trade. Scott also engaged with regional and national media as a spokesperson, translated complex tech concepts into clear messaging and collateral for key audiences, and carried out integrated communications strategies to advance IA’s policy goals. 

Prior to working at IA, Scott was a senior analyst at HPS, where he supported clients and campaigns within the healthcare, transportation, and trade industries, including the successful effort to reauthorize the U.S. Export-Import Bank in 2015.

A New York native, Scott received his B.A. in Political Science and Economics from Washington University in St. Louis.
