Oliver Edelmann is a director at Hamilton Place Strategies, where he works to develop data-driven strategic messaging and policy objectives for clients in various industries.
Prior to joining HPS, Oliver interned in the Washington office of then-Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-49), where he prepared briefing materials on topics ranging from Chinese trade practices to the adoption of Smart City technology in Southern California. He previously worked at Ogilvy, as a content intern, and at Mars, where he worked on a project aimed at reducing the CO2 output of Snickers and Dove wrappers manufactured in the Middle East.
Originally from Vienna, Austria, Oliver spent most of his childhood in Dubai, UAE. He attended the University of Virginia, where he earned a BA in Foreign Affairs and an MS in Commerce, with a concentration in marketing and management. He speaks English and German.
