Prior to joining HPS, Michael served as communications manager for Climate Resolve, a solutions-oriented climate advocacy organization. During his tenure, he expanded the reach of the organization’s mission using social media, informative reports, strategic partnerships, event coverage, press relations, and digital media management. Michael was tasked with translating complex and emotionally dense information into compelling, yet digestible communications products.
Previously, Michael worked at the Los Angeles chapter of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), where he produced over 50 events annually and provided administrative assistance to a variety of member-led committees. While at ULI, he founded the organization’s very first LGBTQ+ collective, which quickly spread to other chapters.
