Biography

Carley Lerner is an associate at Hamilton Place Strategies, where she works with a variety of clients to achieve strategic communications and policy objectives.

Prior to joining HPS, Carley interned for Adam Schleifer’s campaign for Congress, where she published a variety of communications deliverables on behalf of the candidate and pitched policy proposals across key issue areas, such as economic justice. Carley also worked as an editorial intern and later as a freelance writer for Reader’s Digest, where she authored original articles for publication in the online magazine. She also served as a research assistant at Duke University’s Sanford School of Public Policy, where she supported an investigation into the various uses of social media during times of crisis.

Originally from Westchester, New York, Carley graduated cum laude from Duke University, where she studied Public Policy, Journalism, and Media Studies.
