HPS Welcomes Jim David As Managing Director
Washington, D.C. – Hamilton Place Strategies today announced that Jim David has joined the firm as Managing Director, bringing expertise in corporate and financial communications that will strengthen HPS’ analytical approach to public affairs.
David comes to HPS from Kekst, a leading strategic communications firm based in New York City. At Kekst, David advised Fortune 500 companies, alternative asset managers, and other clients on a range of business-critical communications issues, including shareholder activism, bankruptcy, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory matters, and crises. He has worked extensively with clients in the private equity, energy, and airline industries, among others.

Jim earned a Ph.D. in history from the College of William and Mary and received a B.A. magna cum laude from Boston College. He is the author of Dunmore’s New World, a book about political culture in the era of the American Revolution focused on the life of the last royal governor of Virginia.
