HPS Announces Claire Bischoff as Director
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, Hamilton Place Strategies (HPS) is pleased to announce Claire Bischoff’s promotion to director at the firm.
Since joining HPS in 2016, Claire has performed invaluable work as an associate and senior associate, helping to develop and implement strategic communications, crisis management, and brand development strategies for clients in finance, mergers and acquisitions, and tech, among other industries. Throughout her time at the firm, Claire also helped scale HPS’s design capabilities through her knowledge of graphics tools and user experience design. Most notably, Claire led a full rebrand of HPS’ affiliate company, Flag Media Analytics.
Claire recently returned from a four-month rotation in HPS’ New York office, where she helped expand the HPS approach beyond the Beltway and portfolio in communications challenges surrounding transactions, crises, thought-leadership, and other complex issues in highly-regulated sectors.
“From day one, Claire has proven herself to be a natural leader and a creative thinker,” said HPS founding partner Tony Fratto. “It has been a great pleasure to watch her grow and the impact she’s had over the last three years with our clients and our teams. We are excited to see her excel in her new role.”
Before joining HPS, Claire worked in Senator Tim Kaine’s (D-VA) Washington office where she conducted research on transportation, healthcare, and other economic policy issues important to Virginians. She also served as a government affairs intern for The Sheridan Group, where she focused on issues related to federal appropriations and non-profits. Originally from Virginia Beach, VA, Claire graduated with high distinction from the Batten School of Leadership and Public Policy at the University of Virginia with a B.A. in public policy and global public health.
