Christina Pearson has deep experience on the frontlines of the most consequential technology and healthcare debates of the last two decades. She’s a recognized communications expert who has helped government and corporate leaders to position their issues, elevate their brand and attain their business and policy goals.
For nearly a decade before joining HPS, Christina led a multi-faceted public affairs campaign which established Microsoft Corporation among the most effective and visible government affairs operations. During her tenure, she served on the US government affairs senior leadership team, helping achieve policy goals related to cloud computing, education, workforce, innovation, privacy and security.
Christina previously served as the Senate-confirmed chief communications officer for the US Department of Health and Human Services. As top spokesperson and senior strategist, she oversaw all activities related to media, marketing, and web operations within the department’s 11 agencies. She was instrumental in campaigns to enroll millions of seniors in the Medicare Part D prescription drug benefit, bring greater awareness to chronic disease prevention and improve international emergency preparedness planning for pandemic influenza.
She began her career at the US Senate Finance Committee as deputy communications director, working on a range of issues including tax reform, SCHIP, HIPAA, and the creation of the Roth IRA. After leaving the Hill, she held positions as a spokesperson for the American Hospital Association and as senior advisor at global public relations firm Fleishman-Hillard.
Christina is a graduate of Hamilton College in Clinton, NY. She resides with her husband and two children in the Washington, D.C. area.
