Biography

Emma Pettit is an associate at Hamilton Place Strategies, where she works with a diverse set of clients to accomplish their strategic communications and policy objectives.

Prior to joining HPS as an associate, Emma was an HPS summer intern, where she conducted daily policy and analytical research for clients in energy, finance, and business. Prior to her time at HPS, she worked at American Action Forum (AAF) as a labor market policy intern. At AAF, Emma analyzed workforce recovery since the recession on a state-by-state level, researched minimum wage data, and wrote briefs on parental leave. She has also served as a policy aide for North Carolina State Senator Jeff Tarte, working on affordable higher education. Emma led a team of news writers and authored front-page articles in her role as news editor of The Davidsonian.

Originally from New York City, Emma graduated magna cum laude from Davidson College, where she majored in Political Science.
