HPS Launches Creative Services Practice
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Hamilton Place Strategies (HPS) today announced the launch of HPS Creative, a new practice that blends the firm’s hallmark analytical and policy acumen with expertise in storytelling, design, and technology to help clients increase the accessibility, reach, and emotional resonance of their ideas.
“We operate in an increasingly saturated communications marketplace—particularly now as millions of Americans begin spending even more time online working from home. In this environment, creativity and originality are prerequisites for establishing credibility and staying power,” said HPS Partner Tony Fratto. “Our clients need partners that are able to grasp the complexity and nuance of their issues, and bring those insights to life in an accessible and compelling way. HPS Creative fills that need, providing clients with both the analytical and creative expertise to execute public affairs campaigns that are as emotionally compelling as they are substantively engaging.”
The practice will be led by HPS Creative Director, Max Mallory, who returns to the firm following his role as Managing Director at LGND, a creative agency led by President Obama’s White House Art Director.
“We are thrilled to welcome Max Mallory back to HPS as the firm’s Creative Director,” said HPS Partner Matt McDonald. “As a former colleague, Max brings a deep understanding of the unique complexities and public affairs challenges associated with our work to this new role. Those insights, combined with his experience developing large-scale creative campaigns and storytelling products for the policy space, are a perfect match for our clients as they look to translate research and analysis on complex issues into engaging, accessible tools and experiences.”
As a comprehensive creative function designed to enhance the firm’s analytical public affairs offerings, HPS Creative will provide a wide array of services including data visualization, graphic and web design, animated video, mapping, and more.
Our flexible, integrated team structure will give clients the opportunity to take advantage of these creative offerings as a part of their ongoing public affairs engagements with HPS, or in the form of stand-alone projects focused on a specific set of deliverables or outcomes.
