Stephanie is a Senior Director at Hamilton Place Strategies, and she leads the firm’s expanding portfolio of legal work. An attorney and strategic communications counselor, she advises clients on how to use public affairs to advance their legal position and minimize reputational risk. Stephanie also works with clients in crisis communications situations, including clients facing intense legal scrutiny and government investigations.

Prior to HPS, Stephanie was a litigator at a top boutique firm in Texas. Stephanie practiced complex commercial litigation and white-collar defense. She frequently worked on high-profile matters that were the subject of media attention. She collaborated with communications firms so that both teams worked in tandem to achieve the client’s goals. She was named a Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2022.

Stephanie served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable David A. Ezra in the Western District of Texas. In that role, she worked on civil and criminal cases. She also supported Judge Ezra during his sittings on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, on which Judge Ezra sits by designation. Stephanie graduated from The University of Texas School of Law with Honors. During law school, she was a summer associate at two big law firms and spent a summer on the U.S.-Mexico border working with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid.

Before law school, Stephanie was a Director at HPS. She primarily supported financial services organizations, including working with big law firms to provide coordinated counsel to executives. Stephanie went to college at The University of Virginia.

An Argentine-American, Stephanie is bilingual in English and Spanish. She lives in San Antonio with her husband and their two dogs, Bobbie and Nelson.
