Andrea Christianson is a partner at Hamilton Place Strategies, specializing in strategic and crisis communications. She has nearly a decade of experience crafting comprehensive public affairs campaigns for Fortune 500 companies, members of Congress, and other policymakers.
Christianson leads research, analysis, and communications efforts across multiple economic policy areas, including international trade, energy, higher education financing, health care, transportation, technology, and economic mobility. She has deep experience in crisis communications and rapid response, on-the-record media engagement, and writing.
Prior to joining Hamilton Place Strategies in 2013, Christianson led opinion and media outreach strategy at the Cato Institute. Previously, she served as the communications director to Congresswoman Kristi Noem and as a press secretary to Congressman and Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy.
Christianson began her career working in California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s communications office, where she served for three years as a spokesperson, opinion writer, and researcher.
A Northern California native, Christianson holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Pepperdine University.
